Zijia Liu is an Assistant Project Manager for BOND. A “day in the life” for Zijia involves reading and interpreting construction plans, coordinating issues among different trades and design teams, overseeing BIM coordination and maintaining the project schedule.
Zijia has an M.S. degree in Construction Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Tongii University in Shanghai, China. Since joining BOND, he’s worked on several high profile projects including College of the Holy Cross Hart Athletic Center, Harvard Business School’s Tata Hall, Boston University’s Student Services Center and Boston College’s Thomas More Apartments Residence Hall. BOND’s clients recognize Zijia for his attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile and creative problem solving skills.
When Zijia is not hard at work on a project, he enjoys going to the gym, watching soccer and trying out Boston-area restaurants. He also volunteers as a Chinese Translator for the Asian Community Development Corporation, where he helps educate the community on the importance of construction safety.
