SITUATION:
The University of Massachusetts Building Authority (UMBA) engaged BOND Building for preconstruction and construction management services for the construction of a seasonal air supported structure and major upgrades for McGuirk Stadium. A new synthetic turf practice field as well as a seasonal air supported structure for football and soccer adjacent to McGuirk Stadium were constructed. - Hospitality suite upgrades provides fans and donors with additional premium vantage points on game days
- Upgraded accessibility, restrooms, and scoreboards improves fan experience
- Dome structure provides expanded practice space for athletic programs
- Minimal disruption to students, faculty, and community
