As Director of Integrated Design, Sean is the driving force behind establishing BOND Building as an industry-leading expert in geospatial surveying, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and vertically integrated design build project delivery. Sean’s commitment to blurring the lines of the traditional designer and construction management roles combined with a passion for staying on the cutting-edge of industry trends has resulted in the continuous evolution of BOND’s value-added services, ensuring the firm is adaptive and responsive to the changing needs of our clients through a progressive and technical project approach. Under his leadership, the Integrated Design team is often found at the crossroads of technology and innovation to facilitate critical information sharing across all of the BOND family of companies for the firm’s project teams, clients, and design partners.
Joining the firm in 2012, Sean has climbed the ranks through the Integrated Services ladder, establishing BOND’s Reality Capture services, the first of its kind for a construction manager in the Northeast, as a nationally recognized service provider for 3D laser scanning and existing conditions modeling. In his current role, Sean oversees both BOND’s Reality Capture and design build architectural services creating a seamless integration of solutions to combat modern construction challenges such as constructability, supply chain volatility, and inflation with robust solutions to keep projects on-time and on-budget. Sean’s client-centric nature, commitment to excellence, and trailblazer mentality helps establish both himself and the BOND Building team as a reliable and trusted partner throughout the Northeast.
Sean’s background has always been deeply rooted in technology-focused project delivery methods through his technical education in Architectural Drafting and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology making him nearly a 20-year veteran in architectural design, BIM, and geospatial surveying. Sean also carries affiliations from the AGC, the Design Build Institute of America, and is routinely represented as an industry leader through conference presentations and webinars.
Beyond Bond
Sean’s passion for technology and innovation doesn’t end when he leaves the office, often filling his time with a number of engineering-fueled hobbies. As a self-proclaimed aviation nerd and avid Formula 1 fan, Sean can often be found catching the race on Sunday or flying airplanes with his friends. When not behind the wheel (or yoke), he can be found trying a new mountain to ski out West – bonus points if it has the best slope-side brewery.
